Program
The Master 1 of this course is the one in Environment and Biodiversity Management, open to initial and continuing education and by apprenticeship. It is common to the Rainet', ComBiodiv, AQUADURA and IEGB courses. This year allows students to acquire the scientific bases, particularly in ecology and biostatistics. Optional courses also allow students to start specializing.
The teaching schedule is spread out over the entire academic year, covering the time slot of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm from Monday to Friday, except on Saturdays when the time slot is limited to 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. However, the Saturday slot is rarely used. These time slots do not concern teaching in the field or in companies.
The teaching takes place in France, in Montpellier, within the Faculty of Sciences (except for planned field trips, in companies and internships). Lessons can be adapted to teachings by videoconference if the health situation requires it.
The schedule for apprentices is available from the CFA and is anticipated over the 2 years of training.

Students wishing to enter the apprenticeship program must have an apprenticeship contract
And then
Continuing your studies abroad
The Master's degree is one of the four higher education degrees recognized at the European level, delivering 300 ECTS and allowing the pursuit of studies abroad.
Bridges and reorientation
At the end of the Master 1 in Environment and Biodiversity Management, the student having acquired his 180 ECTS can ask to be reoriented towards another Master 2 course of the mention of Environment Management than the one in which he had applied to enter the Master 1 (among Rainet', ComBiodiv, IEGB, AquaDura). However, this reorientation will be subject to the adequacy of the student's professional project with the targeted course, to the acquisition of the necessary prerequisites and to the capacity of the targeted course.
