The preparatory courses for the teaching profession are based on a partnership between high school and university, with an increasing amount of time spent at university over the three years.
Montpellier's Faculty of Education and the Lycée Jean Monnet offer one of these courses, with an innovative pedagogical approach organized around eight skills essential to the teaching, education and training professions.
This course leads primarily to a Master's degree in teaching.
Objectives
- Pursue a Master's degree in teaching, education and training (MEEF) 1st level.
- Acquire the knowledge and develop the multi-disciplinary and professional skills needed to succeed in the competitive examination for the teaching profession and the teaching profession itself.

Training content Teaching units help develop the following skills:
- Competency 1: Develop and exercise critical thinking skills.
- Competency 2: Communicates appropriately.
- Skill 3: Exploiting information.
- Competency 4: Develop and exercise creativity.
- Competency 5: Problem solving.
- Competency 6: Develop a non-violent relationship with oneself, others and the group.

6 semesters over 3 years (L1, L2, L3)
The bachelor's degree evolves from a first year predominantly in high school to a third year predominantly in university.
- 1st year of bachelor's degree: 75% high school and 25% university, with the possibility of school internships.
- 2nd year of bachelor's degree: 50% high school and 50% university, with the possibility of internships in schools.
- 3rd year bachelor's degree: 25% lycée and 75% university, with the possibility of mobility abroad (from September 2024).

I'm a future bachelor, I'm applying via the platform https://www.parcoursup.fr/ from January 18, 2023 to March 9, 2023.
I confirm my wishes and complete my file from March 10, 2023 to April 6, 2023.
As soon as I have received a positive decision from Parcoursup, I gather my supporting documents and register online. I send my supporting documents via the application PJ WEB application to complete my file.
