The Sciences and Technologies mention of the University of Montpellier is carried by the components Faculty of Education (named FdE in the following), Faculty of Sciences (named FdS in the following) and the Institute of Business Administration (named IAE in the following).
The mention is declined in two groups of specific courses of the components which carry them. Thus :

Teaching group:

The FdE has two courses: STIEF "Engineering sciences and techniques for teaching and training" and LP&MEEF "Multidisciplinarity and teaching and training professions".

The FdS, in collaboration with the FdE, runs a course entitled "Sciences in the first degree and scientific mediation", called SPDMS, which trains students who are destined to become school teachers or scientific mediators.

Management group carried by the IAE, including several courses:
-
Management sciences and technologies (MST). The courses take place in person at the IAE of Montpellier. In addition, two agreements have been established with the IUT of the University of Montpellier and the Montpellier Business School Group (MBS) to implement Learning Agreement validating the L3 of the IAE.

Management of Multimedia Products (MTM). This course is organized in partnership with the Lycée Jean Monnet, which is recognized in the Montpellier Academy for its Bac +2 specializations in Multimedia and Design. This diploma is organized through an apprenticeship program with the University CFA.

Information System and Management Control (SICG). This course is open through apprenticeship with Forma Poste.

Science and Technology Management (in eLearning). This course has been open since October 2018.

International Management for Science and Technology (MIST) (Course under agreement with the University of Ausburg) This agreement allows our students a mobility on the S6 and to continue if they wish in M1 in Germany and reintegrate the M1 IAE in semester 2

Objectives
The objectives are differentiated according to the group of courses of the mention:
- For the teaching group, the main objective is to prepare students to become teachers and to consider entry into a Master MEEF first or second degree or Master of scientific mediation
- For the management group, the courses are organized around the fundamental notions of management and prepare students for access to the MASTER courses of the IAE and other Masters in management in French universities or for entry into the job market.

This is a pre-professionalization course for school teachers: "Sciences in the first degree and scientific mediation".
Management Technology and Sciences [IAE]
Intended for students with technical or scientific backgrounds, the Science and Technology Bachelor's degree is a generalist and professionalizing program. It trains future managers in the field of Science and Technology Management.
Design and marketing of multimedia products (CCPM) [IAE].
The Design & Marketing of Multimedia Products (CCPM) program is a fundamental degree in alternating courses. It is organized in partnership with the Lycée Jean Monnet in Montpellier, an institution recognized for its post-baccalaureate training in the multimedia and digital fields. Its objective is to study and provide expertise in the design and marketing of
new technologies.
Information systems and management control [IAE]
Come and do a work-study program in management control at IAE Montpellier.
We offer a work-study SICG degree to enable you to work as an assistant management controller and prepare you for entry to a Master's degree. This is a generalist , non-professional degree, which will give you access to various master's programs (in particular the SICG master's program at IAE Montpellier). The program is also available as an initial and continuing training course.

The Faculty of Education of the University of Montpellier offers a multidisciplinary degree in the sites of Carcassonne, Nîmes, Montpellier, Mende and Perpignan.
Information systems and business development (IAE)
Come and do a work-study program in business development at IAE Montpellier.
We offer a work-study SIDC degree to enable you to work as a sales assistant and prepare you for entry to a master's program. This is a general , non-professional license, which will give you access to the various master's programs. The program is also available for initial and continuing training.

Preparatory course for the teaching profession
The preparatory courses for the teaching profession are based on a partnership between high schools and universities, with an increase in the amount of time spent at the university over the three years.
The Faculty of Education of Montpellier and the Jean Monnet high school offer one of these courses with an innovative pedagogical approach organized around eight essential skills for teaching, education and training.
This course leads primarily to a Master's degree in teaching in schools.
Admission
Conditions of access
Apart from the LP&MEEF course of the FdE for which one applies through ParcourSup after high school, the other courses are accessible in L3 with an application based on L1 and L2 results and a letter of motivation.
Target audience
For the teaching group: students who have followed a scientific curriculum in L1 and L2 and who wish to go into primary or technological teaching.
For the management group: students who have followed a scientific and technological curriculum in L1 and L2
Necessary pre-requisites
To have obtained the Baccalaureate for students registering through ParcourSup. To have validated a L2 for those accessing L3

Studies are differentiated according to the group of courses:
For the teaching group: The preferred course of study will be the MEEF master's degree with its various courses with a particular emphasis on the
professorat des écoles. Further studies will also be possible in the DDS master (didactics of sciences) or in masters in communication and scientific mediation.
For the management group: IAE Masters and other Masters in management from French universities.
