Presentation
Come and train in management control at IAE Montpellier through a work-study program.
We offer a work-study SICG bachelor's degree to enable you to take up positions as assistant management controllers and prepare you for entry into a master's program. This bachelor's degree is generalist and non-professional, which will allow you to access various master's programs (in particular the SICG master's program at IAE Montpellier). This training is also offered as initial and continuing education.

Objectives
Throughout the training program, you will work in project mode to master database management tools and Business Intelligence software (Qlikview and Business Object), enabling you to acquire skills that are in high demand in the digitization of management control.
Know-how and skills
The information systems aspect is central to this program and will enable you to acquire skills and expertise that are in high demand in the digitization of auditing, such as:
- Be able to interpret issues relating to the management of a company's activities in the areas of finance, marketing, and production, and translate them into a dashboard.
- Be able to anticipate the consequences of fluctuations in activity by offering management support tools.
- Be able to manage databases and integrate them into business intelligence tools

Supervised project for work-study students or minimum 4-month internship for students in initial training.
A 50-hour student engagement assignment must also be completed.
Program
The bachelor's degree consists of two semesters.
The first semester covers general management subjects in addition to subjects related to management control.

L3 Information Systems and Management Control (SICG)
The objective of the program is to prepare students for the challenges of managing organizations by addressing the main activities of a company (accounting, management control, human resources management, marketing, project management, and strategy).
Professional integration takes the form of a work-study program throughout the year, combining theoretical knowledge with practical problem solving. At the end of this third year of the bachelor's degree, students will be able to take on management positions assisting management controllers in steering tasks using management control tools. They will be able to work in all types of organizations where the technological environment is rapidly evolving
: commercial or non-commercial organizations of all sizes, industrial, commercial or service-based, public or private.
The program focuses on both the management and information systems aspects of the profession, with practical exercises using integrated management software packages (PGI) and business intelligence software (Qlikview and Business Object).

Admission requirements
Access in L3:
Students with backgrounds in management, science, or technology who have earned 120 ECTS credits, corresponding to two years of higher education (BTS Accounting, Management, BUT, Licence 2, business schools). Recruitment is based on application and interview.

Students with backgrounds in management, science, or technology who have earned 120 ECTS credits, corresponding to two years of higher education (two years of postsecondary education, second year of a bachelor's degree, business school, BTS in accounting or management).
