Science in the First Degree and Scientific Mediation [FDS].

The training aims to achieve the following objectives:

•  Support students' choices for the teaching profession,
•  to train students to a high scientific level in biology, mathematics and physics-chemistry,
• reinforce the mastery of the French language,
• introduce students to child psychology, learning theories, philosophy of education and didactics of scientific disciplines
• introduce students to the school environment, particularly during two internships in a school, allowing them to use all the skills they have acquired,
• develop group work skills to collectively solve problems and communicate orally and in writing.

The various skills of the teaching profession are targeted by the training:

• Develop and practice critical thinking skills,
• Communicate appropriately,
• Use the information,
• Develop and exercise creativity,
• Solve problems,
• Develop a non-violent relationship with oneself, with others and with the group,
• Cooperate and work as a team,
• Develop effective work methods
