Objectives

The training aims to achieve the following objectives:

  •  reinforce students' choices to become school teachers,
  •  train students to a high scientific level in biology, mathematics, and physics-chemistry,
  • improve proficiency in the French language,
  • introduce students to child psychology, learning theories, educational philosophy, and the teaching of scientific disciplines
  • introduce students to the school environment, particularly during two internships in schools, allowing them to apply all the skills they have acquired,
  • develop teamwork skills to solve problems collectively and communicate orally and in writing.

Organization

Knowledge assessment

The assessment methods vary depending on the course unit. They include continuous assessment, final exams, and oral exams. They are voted on by the Faculty of Science Council every year in September.
