Come and train in business development at IAE Montpellier through a work-study program.

We offer a work-study SIDC bachelor's degree to enable you to take up sales assistant positions and prepare you for entry into a master's program. This bachelor's degree is generalist and non-professional, which will allow you to access various master's programs. This training is also offered as initial and continuing education.
The bachelor's degree consists of two semesters. The first semester covers general management subjects in addition to subjects related to business development. Specialization then continues in the second semester, particularly in the area of digitalization tools for commercial activities. Recruitment is based on application and interview.

The advantages of the training program

Objectives

At the end of this third year of the bachelor's degree, students will be able to access management positions responsible for assisting sales representatives in commercial management tasks by utilizing information system tools. Students acquire dual training at the end of the bachelor's degree program, focusing on the management aspect of the profession and the information systems aspect, with practical experience using ERP (SAP) and Business Intelligence software (Qlikview and Business Object).

Information systems are a central part of this program and will enable you to acquire the skills and expertise sought after in the digitalization of commerce, such as:

  • Sales and mastery of commercial processes (negotiations, B2B, B2C)
  • Customer relationship management and expertise in commercial data analysis (mailings, targeting promotional campaigns)
  • Management of sales activities and team management (training, support, and monitoring)

Throughout the training program, you will work in project mode to master database management tools and Business Intelligence software (Qlikview and Business Object), enabling you to acquire skills that are in high demand in the digitization of commercial activities.

Mandatory prerequisites

Access in L3:

Students with backgrounds in management, accounting, science, or technology who have earned 120 ECTS credits, corresponding to two years of higher education (BTS, BUT, Licence 2, business schools).

The student must have a company that will take them on as a work-study student (professional training contract or apprenticeship contract).
