Objectives

- Consolidation of geological mapping knowledge in the field
- Training in the use of a digital tablet in the field to position and acquire geological measurements (dip & gps points ->fieldmove clino, IGN map, sat photo)
- Training in digital geological mapping = digitization + data integration (field/ aerial imagery-satellite) on GIS for the realization of a detailed digital geological map + associated database.

Syllabus

- 3 days of supervised fieldwork (presentation of the study area and characteristic facies)
- 2 x 3h GIS training sessions (Qgis): one before the supervised fieldwork, the other before the last outing.
- additional fieldwork by the students alone and work in the info room
- digital fieldwork tool: 1 ipad mini per pairĀ
