Internship M2 Professional - ER - Initial Training

This internship concerns the students registered in the "Professional" profile of the Master Water-Resource. It corresponds to the second experience of the students in a professional environment and constitutes a major phase for their future insertion. The content of the module depends on the host structure chosen by the student, which can be a company, an association, an NGO, a public or international organization in the water and environment sectors.
A phase of formalization of a problematic based on a rigorous state of the art, a phase of implementation of an approach, as well as a phase of realization and analysis of results are expected.
The whole is to be returned according to the modalities defined between the host structure and the pedagogic referent. A dissertation is required for the academic evaluation. This dissertation may be completed by deliverables requested by the host organization, which may or may not be integrated into the dissertation.
The confidentiality of the evaluations (written and oral) is possible.

The objective of this course is to develop a professional experience in a structure likely to recruit future graduates of the course. The internship should allow a better knowledge of the professional environment and the development of personal qualities. Another objective of this course is to acquire the necessary know-how to respond to the problems addressed in the host structure, with a situation allowing the learning of the job of study manager, project manager or more broadly that of an engineer specialized in the water and environment sector.

This EU consists of three successive steps:

- The search for and preparation of the internship, which foreshadows the job search that the student will have to make at the end of his or her course. The student is thus led to contact future employers and to find a match between his or her professional aspirations and the internship offered;

- The realization of the internship within the company, organization of a duration between 5 and 6 months.

- The writing and presentation of his internship work.
