This course allows students to carry out an engineering project in its entirety, in the form of an interdisciplinary engineering study related to environmental or health impacts, hydrological, hydraulic, hydrogeological modeling, risk management, etc.
This 5 ECTS UE is divided into 2 UE: a 2 ECTS UE in S3 (Interdisciplinary Project 1 Water Resource), followed by a 3 ECTS UE in S4 (Interdisciplinary Project 2 Water Resource). These 2 UE are inseparable, the second being the finalization of the first.
During the EU Interdisciplinary Project 2 Water Resource, the steps will be:
- Continued study (in the form of non-presential work sessions or supervised by professionals and CEs, field trips if necessary).
- Phase of restitution of the study (technical report on the activities implemented and the results obtained in the field) and oral defense before a jury (mid-February).

This course is a continuation of the Bibliographic Project course and is the preparatory phase for the research internship that will be conducted in the laboratory. It aims at defining the problematic on the basis of a scientific state of the art based on the bibliographic synthesis carried out in the Bibliographic Project UE.
The student will have to define, in interaction with his tutor, the problematic, the initial state of the art of the question to explore. He/she will also have to specify the work methodology that will be implemented during the "research" internship as well as the provisional calendar.
This work will be the subject of an oral presentation before a jury consisting of an external examiner, the internship tutor and one of the course leaders.
