KNOW-HOW - Bringing concreteness and transmitting the view in situation of a territorial engineer through case studies to achieve, on the theme of water :

  • an analysis and a territorial prospective ;
  • actions of territorial conception (production with the control of the procedures, coordination in particular budgetary and piloting (relations elected) of territorial and urban projects);
  • animation of territorial and urban projects (human resources management).

KNOWLEDGE - Learn to make project, while taking into account the heritage character of water and understand the jobs of a territorial engineer, which can be positioned on the following positions :

  • a - Project Manager / Project Manager / Consultant / Engineer on the environment,
  • b - watershed coordinator
  • c - animator of SAGE, regional or national parks

A 3-hour evaluation, which includes a reflective part based on a video and a part of restitution of the course with argued answers, the whole being the subject of an in-depth and personalized correction.

Syllabus

The course is structured around case studies centered on the territory of Gironde and New Aquitaine. It develops in turn, times of appropriation of water included in the planning of the territory on drinking water, sanitation, floods and aquatic environments, including wetlands. It also enables the positioning of the network of water and urban planning actors to be addressed, while enabling the discovery of professions related to these two themes. It is the subject of numerous exchanges and interactions between the teacher and the students, with a view to awakening their critical sense with regard to practical, real-life professional cases.
