  1. Approach and Definition of Operational Safety (SdF)
  2. Definition and analysis of the four components of the SdF: Reliability, maintainability, availability, and safety.
  3. A Quantitative Approach to the SdF:

- Reliability Analysis and Calculation

- Maintainability Analysis and Calculation: Maintainability function, associated repair rate, repair time distribution, MTTR…

- Analysis and calculation of availability (intrinsic, operational); composition of availability metrics
