Description

This teaching unit, devoted to the basics of digital electronics, is structured in an original way around a technical project, carried out individually or in pairs, whose progress will follow the progression of the associated courses.

Each project topic will be assigned at the beginning of the teaching unit.

The main notions of digital electronics will be deepened through lectures and practical work can complete the theoretical aspects to guide the progress of the project.

Objectives

- Transmit theoretical knowledge of digital electronics by designing a technical project over the period of the teaching unit.

- To teach the student to work independently in a finite amount of time on a defined topic.

- To teach the student to present concrete results of his/her work and to justify them in written and/or oral form.

Two objectives will be defined at the beginning of the teaching unit in relation to the specifications defining the project:

  • A goal to achieve
  • A minimum objective for EU validation

The student, or the pair, will be evaluated on their project (theory and practice). They will provide a report on the proposed topic and may be asked to present their work orally.

A session 2 will be organized on a written (or oral) and/or practical basis.
