Description

This course covers the various molecular and supramolecular tools available for the vectorization and delivery of active ingredients, depending on the type of cells or intracellular organelles targeted. Ligand-receptor interactions are covered, as are methods for preparing and activating conjugates. Examples of drugs will be presented.

Syllabus

Course:

  • non-viral gene therapy (lipoplexes, polyplexes) ;
  • Targeted nanoparticles (PMO, MSN, silicon, etc. for 1-photon or 2-photon PDT, or cancer therapy; EPR effect);
  • targeted therapeutic liposomes ;
  • transport of active ingredients by cyclodextrins ;
  • use of drug-antibody conjugates (DACs) in the treatment of certain cancers ;
  • lysosome targeting (LYTAC) for pathogen degradation.
