Description
This course covers the various molecular and supramolecular tools used for vectorization and delivery of active ingredients according to the type of cells or intracellular organelles targeted. Ligand-receptor interactions will be discussed, as well as methods for preparing and activating conjugates. Examples of drugs will be presented.

Syllabus
Course:
- non-viral gene therapy (lipoplexes, polyplexes);
- targeted nanoparticles (PMO, MSN, silicon, etc. for 1-photon or 2-photon PDT, or cancer therapy; EPR effect);
- targeted therapeutic liposomes;
- transport of active ingredients by cyclodextrins;
- use of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for the treatment of certain cancers;
- lysosome targeting (LYTAC) for the degradation of pathogenic molecules.
