Description

This course will cover the fundamental concepts and practical tools related to chemometrics through : - statistical analysis of data ;

  • laws of probability ;
  • confidence interval estimation ;
  • parametric and non-parametric tests.

An introduction to experimental design will be offered at the end of the module.

Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide students with the chemometrics tools necessary for the statistical exploitation of experimental results. Through the introduction to experimental design, students will also be made aware of how to design parametric experimental studies in an optimal way.
