This course will teach techniques for the extraction of biomolecules (protein precipitation, SPE), as well as techniques for the separation of biomolecules (chromatography, electrophoresis).

Syllabus

Concerning the lectures: 7.5 hours will be devoted to the methods of extraction and separation of biomolecules and 1.5 hours to the teaching of capillary electrophoresis

Several practical sessions will illustrate these concepts: -

  • HPTLC applied to biomolecules
  • Capillary electrophoresis (chiral separation of aa),
  • SPE- HPLC biomolecules
