Objectives
The objective of this course is to illustrate the chemical and stereochemical structure of natural lipids, to briefly describe their biological and pharmacological functions, to show some examples of stereoselective synthesis of lipids, especially prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

- Structure and total synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes (3 H)
TD (5 H): Individual work, exercises to prepare before and during the session.
Determination of the structure of different classes of lipids by chemical and spectroscopic analysis methods. Exercises on the total syntheses of prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
