Presentation
The M.T.S. Master's degree provides knowledge, expertise, and skills in the interconnected fields of management, tourism, and sports recreation. Since 1992, the UFR STAPS in Montpellier has offered a Master's degree in sports tourism management as part of its sports management program. The Master's degree in Sports Tourism Management (M.T.S.) has trained more than 800 professionals in the sector. Today, it is supported by a team of 10 professionals who are recognized in their sectors (tourism marketing, communication, facility management, tour operators, outdoor sports consultants, etc.) and 11 university lecturers (research professors, PRAG and ATER). In the Master 2 program, 70% of the teaching is provided by professionals: tour operators, ski resorts, tourist offices, leisure centers, etc.
