Objectives

The objective of this module is to provide the fundamental notions of the physical and petrophysical description of reservoirs, at different scales (from the thin sheet to the basin scale), as well as the main aspects of diagenesis that modify the petrophysical properties.

Necessary pre-requisites

Sedimentology in silico-clastic or carbonate domain (from Licence and Master 1), possibly the notions acquired in hydrogeology (Licence).
