Description
This module aims to provide the fundamentals of near-surface and borehole geophysical investigation methods used in the field of hydrogeophysics. These approaches are designed not only to characterize reservoir structure (geometry, lithologies) but also to detect, locate, and quantify fluid flow. We will also cover the processing and analysis of this data using various specialized software programs.
Objectives
The goal is to train students in geophysical methods specific to hydrogeophysics:
- Understanding the theory, advantages, and limitations of these methods
- Practical Implementation in the Field
- Data Processing Using Dedicated Software
- Be able to interpret geophysical data in conjunction with a case study
