Diagnostic tools

This course aims at perfecting the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) during computer sessions. The creation and layout of maps according to scientific standards, the digitization of paper maps, the use of databases and the georeferencing of raster files will be covered.

At the end of this course, you will be able to produce maps independently according to specific objectives, with the knowledge required to use literal or digital databases. You will also be able to create your own geographic information systems in order to enhance and make available your research.
