Description

The content of the module is divided into 5 sequences: (1) Irrigation equipment and infrastructure; (2) Irrigation management; (3) Socio-economic analysis, consultation methods; (4) Professional conferences; (5) Case study: conversion of an irrigated system

 

Objectives*:

(1) to acquire knowledge and expertise on the different components of the functioning of an irrigated system, individual or collective, by mobilizing the knowledge acquired in the other courses of the specialization,
(2) to understand the sustainable management of water resources on the scale of an agricultural territory, from different angles (water resources, agronomic, technical, socio-economic) and at different scales (from the plot to the watershed).

Knowledge control

Examination: 50%.

Continuous assessment: 50%.

Evaluation based on a final exam (1 hour) and on continuous assessment (case studies).
