Project management encompasses all the methods, tools and techniques used to organize the progress of a project and achieve its objectives, from the initial idea to its completion.

 

Practical exercises and case studies help students acquire the right reflexes and manipulate project management tools.

Objectives

The aim of this course is to give students a basic understanding of project management. The targeted skills are as follows:

  • In terms of knowledge: what is a project, types of projects, project stages and breakdown, project stakeholders, some project management tools, project risk management
  • In terms of know-how: identify the project profile, its stakeholders, plan it, talk about it, know how to use the appropriate project management tools.

Knowledge control

  • Part of the assessment will be individual, based on participation in lessons and group work.
