This program involves professors and professional lecturers specializing in digital economics. The advantages of the training program
With regard to professional integration, in addition to the numerous internships offered by all partners, particularly member companies of the IDATE Foundation (https://fr.idate.org/accueil/a-propos/nos-membres/), two programs have been developed:
- (1) As part of the traditional methodology for developing a career plan, students must compile a portfolio of experiences and skills.
- (2) In addition, we are seeking APEC's support in helping students promote their skills to companies, and we encourage them to actively participate in workshops organized by the SCUIO-IP at the University of Montpellier.
Possibility of completing the second year of the Master's degree as an apprenticeship.
Objectives
This program aims to train economists specializing in digital economics. This specialization is organized around a solid foundation in market analysis, business strategy, and evaluation tools. The program is complemented by elements of legal and technical analysis (with numerous contributions from professionals and specialists in these fields).
Know-how and skills
The skills targeted are: strategic analysis, financial analysis, competitive and regulatory analysis, in-depth knowledge of the digital economy and economic issues, proficiency in statistical tools for project evaluation, and proficiency in web-based IT tools.

Continuing education
The program is designed to prepare students for entry into the job market after completing their second year of master's studies. However, students who wish to pursue a PhD can benefit from enhanced skills in the fundamentals of economic analysis (industrial microeconomics, advanced econometrics, contract and regulatory theory, etc.). By informing the teaching team in advance of their intention to pursue a PhD, students have the opportunity to focus their individual work on an introduction to economic research from the first year of the Master's program. Students concerned must also participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences organized by the research team associated with the program.

Professional integration
The development of digital technologies has revolutionized the organization of traditional sectors, starting with the traditional telecommunications and Internet sector, followed by the media and communications sector. The increasing digitization of many economic sectors (energy, transportation and mobility, health, finance) is strengthening the need for the analytical and evaluation skills provided by the "Digital Economy" program. There are therefore many career opportunities for students, and demand for these skills is expected to grow particularly strongly in the coming years. In addition, the "Digital Economy" program has been supported for several years by all the companies in the IDATE Foundation, which brings together the biggest players in the digital economy. This support translates into internship opportunities for students in many companies and other institutions.
