This course (M1 and M2) thus responds to the most current policy issues, to the reality of public and private action in this sector, and offers the widest range of professional opportunities.

The Master in ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT LAW AND MANAGEMENT has been accredited since 1999-2000 at the University of Montpellier.
This highly attractive degree trains specialist lawyers to implement environmental and sustainable development policies in the public and private sectors.
Training available for initial and continuing education (professionals wishing to retrain, job seekers).
The normative framework of the environment sector is complex and plentiful today, and public authorities as well as companies are confronted with restrictive regulations to manage their environments, their resources, the risks inherent to their activity, prevent or repair the damage caused by pollution, or adopt a territorial strategy of sustainable development, in a context of ecological transition.
In full expansion, this sector has reshaped the job market, generating numerous outlets and new professions in the public and private sectors.
This Master's degree is designed as a global legal training course (M1) but also transversal and multidisciplinary: law - management - political science - economics, taking into account the current needs of the job market.
