Overview
After earning a Master 2 in science, an engineering degree, or an equivalent qualification, you may wish to gain dual expertise in the field of business management. The IAE in Montpellier offers the MAE program through either the Initial or Continuing Education tracks.
Objectives
This degree program in business administration and management is designed for students with no prior background in business administration. It offers a broad-based education as well as in-depth training in the role of Product Manager within the Marketing Department.

Program
The Master 2 program runs from late September to late March. It is followed by a 6-month internship, from April to September.
The full-time program is divided into three phases: acquisition of foundational knowledge (3 months), career-oriented specialization (3 months), and internship (6 months). The internship, which is aligned with the specialization, serves as a true springboard into the
. It allows students to apply their academic knowledge in practice and often leads to a fixed-term or permanent contract.
This degree is also available on a part-time basis (over 2 years) as part of continuing education.

Admission
Admission Requirements
Initial Education: Applicants must have a master's degree (Bac + 5) or equivalent to be admitted to the M2 program.
In the case of continuing education: if these requirements are not met, applicants with relevant professional experience and a significant career progression may apply for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. Applications are submitted online via the IAE website.
Target Audience
Profile: engineers, scientists, pharmacists, doctors, etc., who are highly motivated to pursue a career in management.
Recommended Prerequisites
Educational Background: Applicants must have a master’s degree (bac+5) or equivalent.
If an applicant does not hold a master’s degree (M2) or an engineering degree, an equivalency assessment (VAP) will be conducted, with the option, if applicable, to
take certain courses in the Master’s 1 program during the first year.
