The Master Business Engineer in Information Technology (IATI) offers a dual competence to combine expertise in information technology and business management in companies. The objective of the training is to train business engineers specialized in the Information Technology (IT) sector.
This specialization corresponds to a precise need of companies, which are looking for high-level B to B sales people, capable of understanding the problems of the client company and capable of negotiating with executives and responding to calls for tenders.
Professional integration is achieved through an assignment and an internship that allows students to combine theoretical knowledge with the resolution of a practical problem in M1 and M2.
Objectives
The objective of the program is to train business engineers specialized in the Information Technology (IT) sector.
Know-how and skills
During the Master's program, students will learn to analyze companies' IT needs and propose the most appropriate solutions. They will also learn how to negotiate an IT offer with a BtoB customer. Finally, they will be able to work as part of a team, so as to be in a position to manage a sales team.
Generally speaking, students will be sufficiently familiar with the various management disciplines to be able to interact effectively with all company departments and defend their positions satisfactorily within the organization's decision-making bodies.

Program
The Master in Information Technology Business Engineering (IATI) is organized in two years and four semesters from S1 to S4.
Semesters 3 and 4 are carried out in M2 with a rhythm adapted to the academic requirements and to the companies.
Between February and May, part of the second semester's teaching is carried out on campus and in partnership with the Grande Ecole program of Montpellier Business School.
In order to increase the international dimension and professional integration, part of the M2 teaching is in English.

Students with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+3, 180 ECTS)
Target audience
Profile sought: Manager with IT skills (universities, ESC, etc.) and IT profile (engineering schools, IT Masters, etc.).
Students with scientific, technical or tertiary profiles.

Access to M2:
Students with a Master 1 or equivalent (Bac +4, 240 ECTS).
