Eco Fair-2

This course unit is based on the same educational project as the “Ecology Fair-1” course unit: the organization of and participation in the two events “Festi’Versité” and “National Ecology Fair ” (see the “Ecology Fair-1” course description).

What sets the “Salon de l’écologie-2” course apart is the roles and responsibilities students assume as they assist the project owners and project managers of the two events. In this course unit, they hold leadership positions as officers of one of the partner student associations: president, treasurer, communications manager, logistics manager, sustainability manager, festival manager, conference manager, and forum manager. They will coordinate the highlights of the events, the activities of the various teams, and the work of the students and volunteers involved in the implementation through the course unit “Ecology Fair 1.”

Experience in project management and/or completion of the “Project Management” course

Motivation, diligence, organizational skills, and a sense of responsibility are required for students who wish to take this course unit.

This course focuses on applying the skills acquired in the “Project Management” course to highly motivated students who are eager to get involved in the proposed events.

Option available for students in the dual-degree program, IEGB, and Combiodiv in FI and APP.

Same qualifications as those for the EU “Salon de l’écologie-1” program, plus the following, depending on the position held:

- lead, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the work of various teams;

- negotiate and delegate tasks to stakeholders, sponsors, and/or clients;

- manage an organization;

- prepare and manage a projected budget and a financial statement;

- uphold professional ethics, particularly by organizing an eco-friendly event in accordance with the requirements of a certification program and its evaluation criteria;

- represent an organization and its events to the general public, the press, and partners;

- Organize, manage, and foster a collaborative work environment dedicated to a professional cause.

- Organize an event and communicate with partners and the media.
