Description
The objective of this course is to introduce students to:
1. how communications departments operate within various types of organizations involved in research, scientific culture, or its applications (research institutes, local governments, associations, NGOs, companies, etc.)
2. the methodology for developing a communications strategy and plan, as well as a press kit.
The course will be based on presentations by heads of communications departments from various organizations and on tutorials that will guide students in analyzing and designing communication strategies and plans, as well as drafting press kits based on real-world projects submitted by the communications department representatives.
Objectives

- Knowledge of the writing guidelines for these organizations
- Ability to adapt one’s writing style to suit different organizations and audiences
