Description
The aim of this course is to introduce functional genomics technologies and to present examples of biological questions that can be asked using them.
This unit aims to present "omics" functional genomics technologies, and some biological questions that they can address. The lectures are given by both associate professors and researchers.

Objectives
-Deepen the molecular basis of major functional genomics/epigenomics mechanisms: replication, transcription, post-transcriptional regulations
-Introduction to functional genomics: approaches, tools, concepts and limitations
-Animal models (mouse, drosophila) and transgenic techniques
-Critical analysis of functional genomics results
Necessary pre-requisites
1. BSc level in cellular and molecular biology
2. Good English language skills, as most of the lectures and all of the articles are in this language.
Recommended prerequisite:
-Bon niveau en biologie moléculaire Good knowledge of molecularbiology
