# Additional Concepts in Linear Algebra: The Concept of Direct Sum
# Determinants
# Reduction: Diagonalization and its applications to the study of discrete and continuous dynamical systems in physics, chemistry, biology, and economics.
Objectives
The objective of the course is to introduce the mathematical tools used to accurately study simple models of population dynamics in biology, interacting agents in economics, pharmacological models in chemistry (compartmental models), etc.
Implementation on a computer is not a direct objective of the course, but depending on student interest, it may include computer programming activities.
