CPES Project: Life Skills, Semester 2

The end-of-year introductory research project (one week to 10 days) is one of the CPES’s distinctive features: it consists of an immersion in a research laboratory, accompanied by presentations of research projects, with students potentially participating for one or two half-days. The goal is to help students understand the challenges involved in a research project and the contributions of modeling, computer science, and numerical simulation. Students are expected to present their findings in the form of a poster or short report, followed by an oral presentation before a panel.
