Description
This course is a continuation of the mathematics taught in L1. The mathematical tools necessary for the physicist in analysis will be studied, in particular functions of several variables, differential operators, generalized and multiple integrals and sequences and series, including integer and Fourier series.
Objectives
To learn to manipulate the mathematical tools used in physics. More specifically, at the end of this course, the student will be able to manipulate the tools of analysis such as differential operators, multiple integrals and Fourier series and will be able to apply them to physics problems.
Necessary pre-requisites
Calculus (L1)
Knowledge control
CT 100%.
