Description

This course will introduce the scientific approach and its application by focusing on the sampling strategy and its impact on data quality and interpretation. It will also introduce the APA methodology and the group work that follows. In groups of 5 students will have to carry out a sampling to answer a scientific problem. Each group will define its strategy, its protocol, collect data from its sampling and analyze them. The results of each group will be compared to each other and will allow the identification of the variables for which the sampling strategy

The program of this EU will be declined on :

  • 3 lectures of 1.5 hours (declared as TD)
  • 10 TD of 1,5 h
  • 2.5 days of fieldwork (declared in TP)
