The Montpellier Chemistry B.U.T. trains senior technicians to work directly with engineers and researchers in all areas of chemical applications: research, development, production, analysis and control.
Training benefits

Objectives
The aim of the Chemistry B.U.T. is to train senior technicians to work directly with engineers and researchers in all areas of chemical applications: research, development, production, analysis and control.
Know-how and skills
At the end of the 3-year B.U.T Chemistry program, graduates will be able to :
- Analyze solid, liquid and gaseous samples.
- Synthesize molecules.
- Develop materials and/or formulated products.
- Produce intermediate compounds and finished products.
- Manage a chemical laboratory or production workshop.
- Monitor health, safety and environmental aspects.

Summary
The aim of the Bachelor of Technology in Chemistry Synthesis program is to train senior technicians with strong expertise in organic and/or inorganic chemistry.
Formulated materials and products (Numat or MatPol)
The Bachelor of Technology in Chemistry in Materials and Formulated Products consists of 2 locally adapted specialties:
- The NuMat local adaptation B.U.T Chemistry course in Materials and Formulated Products is designed to train senior technicians with strong expertise in solid state chemistry and materials for nuclear energy.
- The B.U.T Chemistry course in Materials and Formulated Products , locally adapted to MatPol, is designed to train senior technicians with strong expertise in polymers and formulation.
