Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology (Synthesis Track) is designed to train advanced technicians with strong expertise in organic and/or inorganic chemistry.

Objectives
The goal of the Synthesis track is to train advanced technicians with a three-year post-secondary degree (BAC+3) who possess advanced skills in synthetic chemistry, including the design of experimental protocols (multi-step syntheses, separation techniques for product purification, micromanipulation and gram-scale synthesis, and catalysis) in organic and/or inorganic chemistry, with a focus on sustainable development and social responsibility.

Target Audience
IMPORTANT: This program is open to students starting in their second year of the B.U.T. in Chemistry.
- General Baccalaureate (BAC) earned in 2021 or later with at least one of the following specializations: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, Life and Earth Sciences, or Engineering Sciences.
- General BAC earned before 2021: BAC S (others, depending on the application).
- Technology Track: STL.
And then
Employment Placement
Graduates will be qualified to work as senior technicians (BAC+3 level) or engineering assistants in the field of synthesis.
