Presentation
The Bachelor of Technology in Chemistry in Materials and Formulated Products consists of 2 locally adapted specialties:
- The NuMat local adaptation B.U.T Chemistry course in Materials and Formulated Products is designed to train senior technicians with strong expertise in solid state chemistry and materials for nuclear energy.
- The B.U.T Chemistry course in Materials and Formulated Products , locally adapted to MatPol, is designed to train senior technicians with strong expertise in polymers and formulation.
Objectives
- The aim of the NuMat pathway is to meet the needs of the nuclear industry sector for senior technicians at BAC+3 level with skills in the development of inorganic materials, their characterization techniques and the study of their physico-chemical properties, working in a regulated environment and the communication techniques commonly used in companies in the nuclear and conventional energy sectors.
- The aim of the MatPol pathway is to train senior technicians at BAC+3 level with skills in polymer synthesis, the design of formulated products to respond to specific problems, the development of organic materials, their characterization techniques and the study of their physico-chemical properties.
