Expertise and Skills

The course content will be delivered through active learning methods designed to foster students’ creativity and independence; supervised projects in partnership with industry partners and workshops will prepare students to carry out projects in their future careers.
The goal is to develop specific skills related to mediation, promote interdisciplinary dialogue, and build cross-disciplinary and language skills in a collaborative setting.

In the M1 program, the focus on educational engineering and intercultural training is common to all three tracks.
Acquiring knowledge related to arts and cultural education in schools and in school-based, after-school, and extracurricular settings will enable students to understand the needs of children, adolescents, and young adults.
The design of arts and culture outreach projects will draw on knowledge of arts and culture outreach: trends, transformations, current events, and challenges. A multidisciplinary approach enables the integration of artistic and cultural initiatives (painting, photography, poetry, theater, dance, etc.) with educational objectives.
The program also includes theoretical insights into current issues in the arts, culture, and sciences as they relate to education and arts outreach.
Drawing on their knowledge of national and international arts and cultural policies, students will develop professional skills relevant to careers in arts outreach and will be guided to design and communicate artistic and cultural projects in partnership with an institution.
Professional English and a cultural mediation workshop in English prepare students for the international dimension of the profession.
The master’s program is affiliated with the LIRDEF research laboratory, specifically its Education, Politics, and Society research track. Research is integrated throughout the entire master’s program.
