Description
A 7-week laboratory internship designed to provide immersion in the world of research, whether basic and/or applied.
This internship can be completed in a research laboratory or technical facility in France or abroad.
Objectives
The goal of the internship is to familiarize students with applied and basic research in the field of the physics of living matter and biological systems (from molecules to organisms and, potentially, to populations of organisms).
These internships provide an excellent opportunity to learn and gain a deeper understanding of a number of experimental and theoretical techniques (in physics and biology) covered in the courses.
Mandatory Prerequisites
Students are expected to have completed the courses in the M1 PhIMV program.
Recommended prerequisites:
Students are advised to have successfully completed the course units for the M1 PhIMV program.
Knowledge Assessment
The student must submit a written internship report and present the results of his or her work during an oral defense.
Students will be evaluated on the quality of their work presentation (report and defense), their responses to questions, and their participation during the internship.
