Overview
This program is part of the reform of teacher education and the integration, within master’s degree programs, of preparation for teacher recruitment exams and for the teaching profession. Upon completion of the program, students should have acquired the fundamental disciplinary or interdisciplinary knowledge necessary to teach the subject at various levels of the school system.
Objectives
The scientific objectives are primarily addressed through the coursework in the “Mastery of Disciplinary Knowledge” and “Research and Advanced Study” modules. Students must develop a scientific and disciplinary foundation that can be applied primarily to the development of two competencies targeted by this master’s program:
- the production of a research paper and the in-depth exploration of a research question through the application of a scientific approach.
- the examination and multidisciplinary analysis of professional issues related to learning, teaching, and, more broadly, educational intervention in a school setting (which is particularly required during the qualifying rounds of the recruitment exam and the second oral exam).

Admission Requirements
M1: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science (STAPS) with a concentration in Education and Motor Skills, or equivalent.
