- Master QSE Project Manager in Aquaculture
Created in 2018 by the University of Montpellier, this multidisciplinary training aims to deliver knowledge, working methods, know-how to become efficient in professional situations in the fields of engineering, operation and management of projects in aquaculture, aquariology, and in the development of Mediterranean and tropical aquatic productions and ecosystems.
It is based on the skills of the School of Safety, Environment and Quality and on the experience acquired by the Continuing Education Department of the University of Montpellier - formerly CREUFOP (37 years of higher professional training in aquaculture).
Objectives
The training team is composed of about forty researchers, engineers, experts, managers of institutions and practitioners (Universities, IRD, IFREMER, CIRAD, INRA, DDPP, ... ; Professional Organizations, Engineering and Design Offices, production companies, public aquariums...).
The training is based on :
- On a succession of lectures, tutorials and practical work,
- On the individualized accompaniment of the professional project,
- On the supervision/tutoring of an opportunity and/or feasibility study of a project (aquaculture, product development, activities, organization of the sector, creation/takeover of a company, ...),
- On an international network of former trainees, public and private institutions, production farms, public aquariums and developed sites (trails and paths),
On technical means: educational hatchery (marine and freshwater Mediterranean and tropical), modular aquaculture platform to assist in the development of projects, research laboratories and joint information and support services of the University of Montpellier (University Library

This course is open to continuing education students only.
Possibility of alternating work experience in a professional contract.
Applications assessed on the basis of a file and an interview (face-to-face or remote):
