To train managers in the public and private sectors who are proficient in QHSSE tools and methods:
ISO 9001, 14001, and 26000 standards
OHSAS 18001 guidelines
HACCP, FMEA, MRP, 5M, cause tree, and other methods
Graduates of the Master’s program in Risk and Environment serve as experts and advisors to senior management.
They contribute to the implementation, control, and monitoring of the QSE policy.
Expertise and Skills
They are capable of:
- managing a QSE department,
- coordinating teams,
- organizing, planning, and managing an integrated QHSSE management system,
- lead and support the company or cross-functional departments through a certification process,
- facilitate and train working groups,
- develop action plans as part of continuous improvement and cost control,
- assess and prevent occupational and environmental risks,
- ensure the company’s compliance with standards and regulations.

The Master’s in Risk and Environment, with a specialization in QSE Performance Management, opens the door to social and societal initiatives that are of critical importance to businesses and government agencies: Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Quality of Life at Work, Human Factors, and more. These topics, which lie at the heart of current changes in businesses and society, must be driven by a culture of innovation, conviction, and commitment from everyone; above all, they must be rooted in the socioeconomic reality of organizations.
Building on QSE methodologies and tools—which form the foundation of the program—the course aims to provide students with knowledge of these topics and, above all, practical tools to enable them to serve as experts and advisors to senior management in their role as QSE Managers.
This multidisciplinary program, while developing risk management and crisis preparedness approaches, incorporates the managerial and communication skills necessary for project management, change management, and the practical implementation of sustainable strategies.

The Master’s in Risk and Environment, with a specialization in Security and Safety Management, provides a dual legal and operational skill set that is particularly well-suited to addressing the specific challenges of cindynique (the science of risk) in order to contribute to comprehensive risk management and the protection of people, property, and tangible and intangible assets.
The current context—following the tragic events linked to terrorism and the growing range of risks facing businesses and communities—has highlighted the need for leaders who possess expertise in both QHSE management and security.
This multidisciplinary program, which combines risk management, crisis management preparation, managerial skills, and communication skills, prepares students for future executive roles so that they can serve as experts and advisors to senior management and contribute to the implementation, oversight, and monitoring of QSE policy, drawing on their advanced expertise in the field of safety.

Mandatory Prerequisites
For the M1
Hold a Bac+3-level degree or an accredited Level II qualification
For the M2
Hold an M1-level degree or an accredited Bac+4-level qualification in the fields of QHSSE management
Program open to M1 or M2 students wishing to acquire dual expertise
Eligible applicants include adults (employees, job seekers) who hold the required degrees or have obtained validation of their personal and/or professional experience (VAE / VAP)
