Numerical Modeling

This course allows students to become familiar with real-world problems involving the theoretical or numerical solution of partial differential equations.

Develop the ability to understand a problem statement as phrased by a non-mathematician, translate it into mathematical terms, and present the answer in the same language.

Concept of Solving Partial Differential Equations Using Numerical and/or Theoretical Methods

Recommended prerequisites: This course builds on the concepts covered in the first-year courses of the master's program.
