Description
Each student works on a project supervised by a researcher or a faculty member who is also a researcher. Students write a thesis of approximately 30 pages, which they defend orally before a committee. Students may work in pairs.
Objectives
Prepare to work independently on a Master's-level mathematics topic.
Mandatory Prerequisites
First-year Master's program in Fundamental Mathematics.
Recommended prerequisites: the first year of the Master’s program in Fundamental Mathematics at the University of Montpellier.
