Overview
The Master’s in Consulting and Information Systems Management is a two-year program consisting of four semesters, from S1 through S4. The first year of the Master’s program consists of two semesters. The first semester covers a core curriculum focused on acquiring management knowledge, while the second semester introduces students to their chosen specialization.
Semesters 3 and 4 are part of the second year of the Master’s program, with a schedule tailored to project management. To incorporate the cultural dimensions of technology management, three weeks between January and April are dedicated to professional conferences and case studies on the implementation of information systems in a foreign country.
Objectives
The master’s program offers a “Consulting” and “Project Management” track designed for students who wish to develop expertise in the management and integration of information systems within organizations. Students will thus be at the heart of organizations’ digital transformation. The program is available as a work-study program through an apprenticeship or professional training contract.
Alternatively, professional integration is achieved through internships that allow students to combine theoretical knowledge with the resolution of practical problems.
Expertise and Skills
During the master’s program, students will learn to analyze the needs and specific characteristics of organizations in order to propose the most appropriate IT solutions. Students will be able to manage projects as part of a team to develop these solutions and integrate them into organizations. They will therefore be able to manage the digital transformation of organizations while taking both technological and human factors into account.
In general, students will gain a sufficient understanding of the various disciplines of management to interact effectively with all departments within a company and to successfully advocate for their positions within the organization’s decision-making bodies.
