Mobilizing multidisciplinary approaches, this course aims to acquire and master theoretical concepts, methods of analysis and evaluation of sustainability, as well as their application in professional situations. The skills developed aim to understand and analyze: i) changes in the socio-institutional environment, ii) the behaviors and strategies of actors, iii) the modes of organization and coordination of actors from upstream to downstream, from production (agricultural, raw materials), processing to distribution to the final consumer, iv) the evaluation of performance and value creation, v) and to apprehend the role of logistics as a transversal strategic function of supply chains. >> Read more

Objectives

Know-how and skills

The training provides the opportunity to acquire:

- Knowledge: analyzing the food system and agri-food value chains; observing and analyzing the environment of the actors; evaluating the sustainability of agri-food chains and supply chains; knowing the national and international regulations constituting the socio-institutional framework of value chains and specializing in the management and coordination of supply chains. 

- Skills:
- Develop a strategic diagnosis of a value chain.
- Ensure the interface between the technical and socio-economic aspects.
- Develop a diagnosis and model logistics optimization schemes.
- Mobilize environmental and economic performance evaluation indicators to help decision-making. 

- Personal skills: working and communicating in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, developing rigorous analysis and a sense of responsibility, respecting scientific and ethical integrity.
