Presentation
Using multidisciplinary approaches, this program aims to help students acquire and master theoretical concepts, methods of analysis, and sustainability assessment, as well as their application in professional situations. The skills developed are aimed at understanding and analyzing: i) changes in the socio-institutional environment, ii) the behaviors and strategies of stakeholders, iii) the modes of organization and coordination of stakeholders from upstream to downstream, from production (agricultural, raw materials) and processing to distribution to the end consumer, iv) performance and value creation assessment, v) and to understand the role of logistics as a cross-functional strategic function in supply chains. >> Learn more
Objectives
The aim of the program is to train and specialize future executives and project managers in the management and coordination of value and supply chains, from production to the end consumer, with a focus on sustainability. >> Find out more
Know-how and skills
The training enables participants to acquire:
• Knowledge: analyzing the food system and agri-food value chains; observing and analyzing the environment of stakeholders; assessing the sustainability of agri-food sectors and logistics chains; understanding the national and international regulations that constitute the socio-institutional framework of value chains; and specializing in the management and coordination of supply chains.
• Expertise:
- Developing a strategic diagnosis of a value chain.
- Acting as an interface between technical and socio-economic aspects.
- Developing a diagnosis and modeling logistics optimization schemes.
- Mobilizing environmental and economic performance evaluation indicators to aid decision-making.
• Soft skills: working and communicating in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, developing analytical rigor and a sense of responsibility, respecting scientific and ethical integrity.
