The aim is to provide training in professions related to the development of new technologies linked to agriculture and the analysis of regional adaptation policies and projects in the agricultural and rural sector. In concrete terms, the program opens up career opportunities such as development manager in local authorities and chambers of agriculture, project and research manager in international and similar organizations, in design offices and international organizations, and software designer in private companies related to the program's themes. Objectives
The training enables participants to acquire:
- Knowledge: through analysis of the technical and economic functioning of agricultural operations and diagnostic analysis of agricultural land in the context of climate change.
- Skills: implementation of decision-making support methods, forecasting analysis, and strategic management in individual and collective consulting approaches. Conducting surveys, map construction, landscape and spatial analysis, statistical data analysis, territorial policy analysis. Development of optimization models for production choices at the farm and regional level. Coupling biophysical and economic models for decision support in the management of natural resources and diffuse pollution in agriculture.
- Soft skills: working in multidisciplinary teams, acting as an interface between technical and socio-economic aspects. >> Find out more
