The proposed module will include an overview of the main fish farming systems used in Mediterranean and tropical regions, covering their key biotechnical and socioeconomic characteristics as well as the corresponding supply chains, and will also feature visits to production sites. It will focus on presenting the biological foundations of aquaculture as they apply to Mediterranean and tropical species and environments.
