Description
The module will cover the following points:
- Introduction to the Git version control system
- Introduction to ROS middleware for building robotic applications
- Modularization of a robotic application
Practical work: Implementation of a ROS application, testing on a simulator, and verification on a real robot
Objectives
- Mastering the basics of version management and collaborative work
- Ability to design a modular robotic application that can be run on a simulator or real robot
Mandatory prerequisites
- Linux command line (BASH)
- Python programming
Recommended prerequisites:
- Concepts of robot modeling and control
- C++ programming
