The BIOTIN master's degree in biology and health is accredited by the universities of Montpellier and Nîmes and by the Institut Mines-Télécom. It also has an agreement with Polytech, the Kedge Business School of Marseille, the Etablissement Français du Sang and collaborates with Inserm-transfert. It is accredited by the Eurobiomed competitiveness cluster, which coordinates academic and industrial health activities in the PACA and Occitanie regions, i.e., in addition to research organizations and universities, some 300 biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.

Objectives

The objective is to train enterprising and adaptable generalist engineers in the biotechnology-health field, enabling students to be better equipped to enter either an industrial or academic health field. The multidisciplinary nature of the Master's program allows it to target the therapeutic, diagnostic, medical device and bioproduction fields. All associated activities are accessible: research, development, regulatory affairs, clinical trials.

Know-how and skills

  • Good knowledge in all areas of modern biology-biotechnology (omics, genomics, immunology and immunotherapies, bioinformatics, AI, biomarkers, gene and cell therapy, personalized medicine, diagnostic innovations, clinical biology, clinical trials, bioproduction).
  • English with TOEIC
  • 11 months of internship (5 months in M1 and 6 months in M2)
  • Knowledge of the environment: innovation, patents, project management, business creation (including innovation camp and creation lodge and participation in conferences).
