Overview
The following are included under the heading "HEALTH PROFESSIONS: NUTRITION, DIET":
- The Nutrition and Human Food Studies program, located at the Montpellier IUT campus, is available as an initial degree program, a continuing education program, and an apprenticeship. This program allows students with a two-year post-secondary degree—particularly in dietetics—to deepen their knowledge in the field of sustainable institutional food services and health education in France as well as in developing countries. The curriculum treats food as a central element of prevention strategies, playing an important role in public health policy and sustainable development.
- The "Health-Conscious Culinary Techniques" program, led by the University of Montpellier and located at the CFA de Nîmes Marguerite campus, is open to students in work-study programs and continuing education. This program focuses on adapting culinary techniques to address specific health conditions and the aging population. The curriculum is designed to be hands-on and is intended for future managers of institutional kitchens and foodservice professionals.

Nutrition and Human Diet
The Nutrition and Human Food Studies (NAH) program, located on the Montpellier IUT campus, is offered exclusively as an apprenticeship program. This program equips students with the essential skills needed to manage all activities resulting from socioeconomic, health, and regulatory changes in the French food sector across various employment sectors, such as personal services and industry. It addresses the needs of professionals in food safety and meets the public’s expectations for nutritional counseling and education—with a focus on prevention as well as training. This one-year degree program (leading to a bachelor’s degree) is designed to prepare students for professional practice, equipping them with the essential skills needed to manage all activities resulting from socio-economic, health, and regulatory changes in the French diet across various employment sectors, such as personal services and industry.

Admission is granted by an admissions committee after reviewing the applications.
Suitable candidates: Holders of a two-year post-secondary degree in biology (DUT, BTS in Dietetics, second year of a Life Sciences degree).
For professionals in dietetics or the agri-food industry who wish to acquire additional skills (continuing education).
